My teenage daughter, who is not at all artistic or crafty, used the Crystyler on a few items to personalize them a bit. She picked up the technique EASILY and did a great job decorating some sneakers, a baseball cap, and a few other things. I was surpised at how quickly she could use the product plus she enjoyed it! We used their crystals (who needs more expensive swarovkisy). My daughter isn’t the arts and craft or bling type of girl; but she had loads of fun with this and it worked great. Next she plans on doing some bigger projects, just as on leather, etc. If you are creative or crafty I bet you could do complex work with this, such as a tiari, bridal hair clip or cool glassware! Highly recommend.

I don’t know what happened with the previous reviewer. However, I have used this several times and it works great. You have to be careful not to get the tip full of glue, but if you follow the video and use the tool correctly – IT ROCKS. I did find the trick that it works best if you keep it straight up and down…and cradle it in all 4 fingers and use your thumb to depress the lever. I have used this for several hundred crystals – on walls, on wood…this is a time saver and works GREAT!

How happy I was to discover this tool. Applying crystals and rhinestones to garments is a breeze. Just dab the glue onto to the item, pick up the rhinestone with the waxed end of the tool, place the stone on the glue & press into place with the metal end of the tool. Perfect!
